ATWA Council Update

Paperwork
As most of you know we have been working hard to get bylaws and charter update. We know some of you have been uncomfortable with the term "Church". In our aspect it is a term that we must you in the paperwork to ordain clergy in our various covens. This allows coven leaders and members to legally stand as a minister over handfastings/weddings, administer death rites in hospitals, and meet the counselling requirement of couples that wish to wed within the pagan community. It does not change that we practice American Traditional Witchcraft nor does it give the Wiccan population within our groups more control or the Witches we practice witchcraft. Everyone still stands equal. Sycamore Meadow serves both witches, traditional and wiccan, equally.

Membership Fees
Membership fees: no longer exist!

Fundraiser
We are working on this year's fund raising project. Once the website is fully operational we will take a vote. Most of you have asked to do the donut sale again. We had a great time with this last year. For those we have requested using the car wash method we will no longer being using this. We feel it pollutes more than it helps.

Annual Trash Pickup
Annual Trash pickup this year will be the weekend before Bealtaine. April 27 & 28. All members who are able are required to help. This will comply with your requirement of community service for membership. Each coven will choose either the 27th sat or 28th sun for this service. If you and/or your coven take pics please respect member privacy. If a member is in the "broom closet" take a pic of their back not their face. If a member does not want their pic taken at all then respect this. Forward all pics Sycamore Meadow.
